Christmas Parade Cancelled - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Murphy's most recent New Jersey Executive Order on gathering limitations, the Lacey Township 2020 Christmas Day Parade (coordinated by the Lacey Elks Club #2518) scheduled for December 6th, 2020 has been cancelled. Thank you.

Traffic Alert–Route 9/Bay Avenue (Forked River)–Road Closed

The Lacey Township Police Department is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 9 and Bay Avenue in Forked River.  Route 9 will be closed in both directions until the investigation is complete.  Please use caution if traveling in that area.

Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Route 9 and Laurel Blvd – Road Closure/Detour – October 3rd, 2020

Due to a motor vehicle crash at Route 9 and Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor (Lacey Township) involving a telephone pole, that area of Route 9 will be closed for several hours. There will be detours at two locations (Route 9 and South Street) along with Route 9 and Haines Street in Lacey Township. Please avoid the area if possible and drive safely.
