Traffic Alert–Route 9/Bay Avenue (Forked River)–Road Closed

The Lacey Township Police Department is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 9 and Bay Avenue in Forked River.  Route 9 will be closed in both directions until the investigation is complete.  Please use caution if traveling in that area.

Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Route 9 and Laurel Blvd – Road Closure/Detour – October 3rd, 2020

Due to a motor vehicle crash at Route 9 and Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor (Lacey Township) involving a telephone pole, that area of Route 9 will be closed for several hours. There will be detours at two locations (Route 9 and South Street) along with Route 9 and Haines Street in Lacey Township. Please avoid the area if possible and drive safely. Please be advised Lacey Road is closed in both directions between Eagleswood  Place and Deerhead Lake Drive due to wires down across the road. Until further notice please avoid the area. Traffic Accident Alert – Western Blvd.

The Lacey Township Police Department is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident on Western Blvd., which will be closed from Manchester Ave. to Veteran's Blvd in Berkeley Township. The Lacey Township Police Department is asking all motorists to use an alternate route until the investigation is concluded.

Lacey Township is experiencing heavy traffic volume in the Route 9/Game Farm Road area due to a large funeral and expected procession.  Please be aware of heavy delays in that area until approximately 3:00pm.  Avoid the area if possible.
