Each November, since 2016, the members of the Lacey Township Police Department have broken protocol for a good cause. We have, in a joint effort with members of our Township’s Emergency Services, participated in the national “No-Shave November” campaign. Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Alamo GA Police Officer Ambushed During His First Shift- October 11, 2021

On Saturday morning, October 9, 2021. at approximately 1:00 A.M. , 26-year old Police Officer Dylan Harrison was shot and killed outside of the Alamo Georgia Police Department in an ambush style attack that was committed in retaliation for an arrest he made earlier during his shift. Theft- On Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 3:01 p.m., Officer Michael Baldasari responded to Walmart, 580 Route 9 N, to meet with asset protection regarding a theft of money from a cash register involving an employee. Officer Baldasari’s investigation revealed Juana Martinez, 19, had stolen a total of $485.00 over the course of a few days.  Juana Martinez was placed under arrest for the theft and released on a summons. Public Safety Announcement – October 7, 2021
