Update: New Jersey Civil Service Exam Application Period Ends September 4, 2013

The New Jersey Civil Service Commission Law Enforcement Examination (LEE) application period is currently open and will officially close on September 4, 2013. The Lacey Township Police Department hires its full-time, regular police officers from a pool of eligible candidates through the New Jersey Civil Service Commission (NJCSC) formal testing process for entry-level law enforcement. Heroin Distribution Arrests – Thursday, May 23, 2013 – Lacey Road & Newark Avenue, Forked River

Drug Distribution Arrests - On the evening of Thursday, May 23, 2013, Lacey Township Police Department detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Lacey Road and Newark Avenue as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Breaking News (Drug Distribution Arrest) – Friday, May 10, 2013 – Hawser Drive, Forked River

Drug Distribution Arrests - On the morning of Friday, May 10, 2013, Lacey Detectives executed two search warrants at 1814 Hawser Drive, Forked River, NJ. The warrants were obtained during an investigation involving the possession and distribution of Oxycodone; a Schedule II, narcotic, opioid pain pill.
