On Sunday, October 10, 2021, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Officers Michael Hyle and Scott Keefe responded to the area of Lacey Road and Arlington Avenue for a report of a vehicle left in the middle of the road. Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Alamo GA Police Officer Ambushed During His First Shift- October 11, 2021

On Saturday morning, October 9, 2021. at approximately 1:00 A.M. , 26-year old Police Officer Dylan Harrison was shot and killed outside of the Alamo Georgia Police Department in an ambush style attack that was committed in retaliation for an arrest he made earlier during his shift.
