Traffic Alert - UPDATE - Roadway has been reopened. Due to a serious motor vehicle accident on Dover Road in the Bamber Lake Section of Lacey Township, the section of Dover Road from Lacey Road to Pinewald-Keswick Road in Berkeley Township was temporarily closed for emergency operations. The initial announcement was effective at 11:13 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015. The roadway is now open to through traffic.

Public Advisement – Oyster Creek Siren Testing – Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014, at 10:00 a.m.

Residents should be aware that the emergency sirens positioned within a 10 mile radius of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station will be tested at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. The sirens will sound simultaneously for three (3) full minutes during the test. Please share this message with your neighbors. UPDATE: As of 11:00 a.m. the temperatures have warmed to alleviate the ice concerns. Original Message (8 a.m.) - Traffic/Weather Alert - The current roadway conditions are extremely dangerous and quickly becoming worse. The roadways are impossible to drive safely upon at this time. All roadways are ice covered. The public is asked to not drive at this time until the temperature warms to well above freezing. -Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

Power Outage – Lacey Township – Sunday, November 24, 2013

UPDATE: Lacey Township experienced a power outage throughout the township this morning (Sunday, November 24, 2013). All of the traffic lights throughout the township were out, and as a result, residents were temporarily asked stay off the roadways for safety reasons.
