K-9 Sweep at the Lacey Township High School – On behalf of the Lacey Township Police Department, I would like to extend sincere thanks to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, Ocean Township (Waretown) PD, Toms River PD, Stafford PD, and Allenhurst PD for dedicating the time and resources necessary to facilitate the very expedient and professional K-9 sweep of the Lacey Township High School. The use of K-9s in the schools is one facet of a multi-faceted approach to dealing with the very complex problem currently facing our state, county, and our municipality. The operation would not have been possible without the support of the Lacey Township school administration and all of the supporting law enforcement organizations who participated.
