Life-Saving Use of Naloxone on 19-year-old Lanoka Harbor Resident - At approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014, Lacey Township Police Officers Dimitri Tsarnas and Evan Androcy responded to a suspected Heroin overdose incident at a Lanoka Harbor residence involving a 19-year-old male who resides in Lanoka Harbor. Lacey Township Police Department – Life-Saving Incident – Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Life-Saving Use of Naloxone - At approximately 10:54 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, Lacey Township Police Sergeant Paul J. Sullivan responded to a Heroin overdose incident at a Forked River residence. Upon his arrival, he found a 30-year-old female unresponsive with very shallow breathing and a faint pulse. Sgt. Sullivan administered the Naloxone spray. The victim subsequently became responsive and alert within only minutes of being administered the medication. Naloxone (Narcan) - The patrol officers of the Lacey Township Police Department are now equipped with the emergency medication Naloxone Hydrochloride which is commonly known by the brand name Narcan. The medication is part of a specially designed kit which provides for the administration of the medication through the nasal passages of an overdose patient.
