On Sunday, January 27, 2013, a resident of Arlington Lane North in the Forked River Beach area reported a theft of various items from the Arlington Lane North property. January 26, 2013 – Reverse 9-1-1 Registration Update

January 26, 2013 - The Lacey Township Police Department has now included a feature on its website www.LaceyPD.org which allows residents to electronically register telephone numbers in the police department's Reverse 9-1-1 directory. The Global Connect Emergency Notification System is utilized by the Lacey Township Police Department to notify residents via telephone of emergency conditions as well as other essential information. January 25, 2013 – FEMA Extends Deadline to March 1, 2013 to Register for Superstorm Sandy Assistance

TRENTON, N.J. — Survivors of Superstorm Sandy now have until March 1, 2013, to register for disaster assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). People with storm losses can register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or via smartphone or tablet at m.fema.gov. Crime Alert – January 18, 2013 – Theft from Person – Forked River House Parking Lot

On January 18, 2013, a 21-year-old resident of Barnegat reported being the victim of a pick pocketing incident while in the parking lot of the Forked River House at 2 a.m. A wallet containing personal identification, credit cards and cash was reportedly stolen.

Crime Alert – January 18, 2013 – Theft Incident – Warren Avenue, Lanoka Harbor

On January 18, 2013, a resident of Warren Avenue in Lanoka Harbor reported that the freestanding garage located in the rear of the property was entered by force. Hand tools valued at more than $800 were stolen, including a chainsaw, Sawzall electric saw and two electric grinders.
