Burglary of Home - At Noon on Sunday, April 28, 2013, a homeowner reported coming to check on his residence when he discovered that an upstairs window had been broken and a 42 inch, ViewSonic, LCD, flat screen TV valued at $300.00 had been stolen from a  wall bracket. Burglary of Home - At 12:43 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2012, a resident of  Musket Road (near the Lacey Mall) in Forked River reported a burglary to his home involving a forced entry and the theft of over $8,500 in jewelry. The homeowner stated that between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12 Noon someone forced entry into his residence by smashing a downstairs window while no one was home in the residence. The homeowner stated that when he arrived home at Noon, he heard [...]

Trespassing and Theft - At 3:50 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013, a Sinclair Avenue, Lanoka Harbor, resident observed a male subject enter his parent's fenced in backyard and steal two extension cords with a total value of $80. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’8’, thin build, dressed in a black sweatshirt and carrying a dark-colored backpack. Car Burglary -  On Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 5:00 p.m., a shopper at the Lacey Shop Rite reported that between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered her locked vehicle by forcing down a rear window that was left partially open. Once inside the car, the subject(s) emptied the vehicle owner's purse on the seat and stole a wallet containing $20.00 in cash, credit cards, along with prescription medications. The total theft is valued at $170.00.

Theft - On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 9:40 a.m., a resident of Shepard Avenue in Forked River reported his marine battery and wire harness were stolen from his boat trailer in the morning hours of April 23rd. The battery was mounted on the front of the trailer to operate the trailer winch. Illegal Dumping of Solid Waste - On Sunday, April 21, 2013, the Forked River Mountain Coalition conducted its annual cleanup efforts in the wooded area west of the Garden State Parkway in Lacey Township. The Lacey Township Police Department provided additional patrols in the woods during the cleanup.
