Criminal MIschief - The Lacey Township Police Department is actively investigating a series of incidents of criminal mischief during the overnight hours. Subjects in a truck destroyed landscaping, lawns, and mailboxes by driving into and along residents' yards to strike their mailboxes. At this point, over 24 residential properties in the area of Lanlac Drive and the Cranberry Hill section have been identified as experiencing damage. Theft - On Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 7:00 a.m., a resident of the 300 block of Constitution Drive in Forked River reported that sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, and 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, an unknown person or persons entered the property and stole landscaping equipment from the backyard. The landscaping equipment included items such as, a rake, a shovel, and a wheelbarrow among other items. Approximate value of the theft is $830.

Multiple incidents of criminal mischief were reported to the Lacey Township Police Department by residents and a business owner on the morning of Friday, June 21, 2013.   . Theft of Copper - A resident of the 500 block of Lakeside Drive North reported that on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, he noticed that a significant quantity of scrap copper was removed from a pickup truck bed that was positioned in his yard. The theft reportedly occurred during the overnight hours. The victim reported that the copper was worth in excess of $900 in scrap value.

Theft - A resident of Edgemere Avenue in the southern area of the Pines Section of Forked River reported that between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on June 16, 2013 and 8:30 a.m. on June 17, 2013, unknown subject(s) stole a smaller, boys, red & black, “Mongoose”, BMX style bicycle. The bicycle was stolen from the front of the residence. The bicycle is valued at $200. 

Theft from a Residence - A resident of the 300 block of Sinclair Avenue in Lanoka Harbor reported the theft of approximately $7,500 worth of jewelry from her residence. The resident reported that sometime between 4:00 p.m. on June 6, 2013 and 12 Noon on June 15, 2013, unknown person(s) stole approximately 6 pieces of jewelry from the home. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. The jewelry included a charm bracelet (14 k gold) with charms (a seashell, mustang, mustard meed, clover leaf); engagement ring with a 2 carat [...]

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle - On Friday, June 14, 2013, at 3:00 p.m., a resident of the 800 block of Alpine Street in Forked RIver reported that sometime between 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12th and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13th, an unknown person keyed the entire driver’s side of her vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the driveway. The total damage is estimated at $500.
