Traffic Alert–Lacey Township

The Lacey Township Police Department is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Route 9 South and Taylor Lane. This intersection will be closed for at least the next few hours while the investigation takes place.  The Lacey Township Police Department is asking all motorists to use an alternate route until the investigation is concluded.  Details of the accident will follow after the proper notifications are made.

  Shoplifting- On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 12:29 p.m., Officer Jesse Dalziel responded to the Walmart, located at 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, for a an adult female shoplifter. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 59-year-old Michele T. Boyle of First Street in Barnegat, NJ, for shoplifting merchandise valued at $43.16.
