Criminal Mischief - The owner of a plumbing company reported that during the overnight hours into Monday, February 25, 2013, one of his work vehicles was vandalized while it was parked in the Sea Breeze development. Suspicious Incident -  A resident reported that around 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013, she heard what sounded like someone trying to open the front door of her Williams Avenue residence. When she got up and looked outside the front window she observed a subject wearing a dark colored hoodie running from the house. No other description provided.

Suspicious Incident - The complainant reported that around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013, he heard someone jiggle the handle to the backdoor of his residence, and upon turning on the lights, he heard a female voice say “I thought you said she was not home.” The subject(s) left the area. No other description provided.

Criminal Mischief – Between the hours of midnight and 0600 hours on Monday, February 25, 2013, unknown subject(s) damaged a 2008 Ford Expedition while it was parked in the driveway of an Enterprise Drive residence.  The rear passenger side of the vehicle had a four inch scratch in the fender. The value of the damage is estimated at $500.00.

Fraud (Senior Alert) - On Friday, February 22, 2013, an elderly resident of the Forked River Beach area reported that she received a telephone call that she believed was a scam. The caller identified himself as “Johnny Black” and told her she had won $300,000.  The fraudulent caller advised her of a procedure to collect the winnings that first required her to send him $350.00. Theft -  On Wednesday, February 20, 2013, a resident of Joseph Ave, Lanoka Harbor, reported a theft from the front porch of the residence. The theft of an archery equipment (target) valued at $100 occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on February 20, 2013.  

Impersonating a Police Officer - At approximately 7:00 p.m., on Monday, February 18, 2013, Police Officer John McKee was dispatched to a local restaurant. The officer met with a concerned patron who reported a suspicious adult male. The suspicious male, Bryan Boggs, age 35, of Lanoka Harbor, had been overheard identifying himself as “Lieutenant Frederick” of the Lacey Township Police Department while speaking on his cellular phone. Burglary & Theft – During the overnight/early morning hours of Saturday, February 16, 2013, a resident from the 500 block of Beach Boulevard (west of 1st bridge) reported that an unknown person entered his residence while he briefly went out to a convenience store.
