Theft - A resident of Edgemere Avenue in the southern area of the Pines Section of Forked River reported that between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on June 16, 2013 and 8:30 a.m. on June 17, 2013, unknown subject(s) stole a smaller, boys, red & black, “Mongoose”, BMX style bicycle. The bicycle was stolen from the front of the residence. The bicycle is valued at $200.
Theft from a Residence - A resident of the 300 block of Sinclair Avenue in Lanoka Harbor reported the theft of approximately $7,500 worth of jewelry from her residence. The resident reported that sometime between 4:00 p.m. on June 6, 2013 and 12 Noon on June 15, 2013, unknown person(s) stole approximately 6 pieces of jewelry from the home. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Missing Person - A group home in the area of Nautilus Blvd by the Sunrise Beach development reported a 19-year-old resident missing and in need of their care and supervision. The missing person is described as a black, female, first name Rakisha, 5'4" tall, weighing 180 pounds, wearing jeans and a black hoody (sweatshirt). Criminal Mischief to Vehicle - On Friday, June 14, 2013, at 3:00 p.m., a resident of the 800 block of Alpine Street in Forked RIver reported that sometime between 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12th and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13th, an unknown person keyed the entire driver’s side of her vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the driveway. The total damage is estimated at $500.
Burglary and Theft (car) - On Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 3:55 p.m., a victim reported that at approximately 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, his unlocked vehicle was entered while it was in the parking lot of a Route 9 S business (300 block of Route 9). A black Apple iPhone 4S, valued at approximately $600 was reported stolen from the vehicle.
