Burglary Arrest - At approximately 4:45 a.m. on March 10, 2012, (17 months ago) officers responded to an alarm call at the Forked River Pharmacy. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a rear door ajar and determined that it had been pried open. Detectives from the Lacey Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department processed the scene recovering physical evidence including latent fingerprints. Suspicious Person (Possible Police Impersonator) - On Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 4:45 p.m., a citizen reported that he was pulled over on East Lacey Road near Horner Lane by a male subject he believed to be impersonating an NJSP Trooper. UPDATE: On Thursday, July 18, 2013, after the Lacey Twp PD Facebook posting was released, the Lacey Township Police Department learned that it was in fact an NJSP Trooper who made the motor vehicle stop.
