Neighborhood Crime Alert – Friday, January 17, 2014 – Bay Way, Lanoka Harbor

Burglary & Theft - During the overnight of Thursday, January 16, 2014, and Friday, January 17, 2014, an unknown person or persons forced their way into a vacant residence on Bay Way, Lanoka Harbor. The home was vacant and being renovated. Various types of tools and equipment were stolen from the residence. Forced entry was made through a garage window to gain entry into the vacant home. Drug Possession with the Intent to Distribute (Arrest) - At 2:05 a.m., Saturday morning, January 11, 2014, Patrol Officer Michael Verwey stopped a 2008 Nissan Altima for speeding and failure to maintain a lane on Route 9 near Game Farm Road in Forked River.
