Weather Alert – Lacey Township Police Department – Snow Accumulation for Saturday, January 7th, 2017

Weather Alert for Saturday, January 7th, 2017. The latest weather report from the National Weather Service indicates the likelihood of snow accumulations in our area starting in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 7th, 2017 and continuing through approximately 6:00 p.m. (Saturday, January 7th, 2017). The highest amounts of snow are anticipated across southern Delaware and southeastern New Jersey where several inches could fall.  Hazardous travel can be expected with snow covered roads and poor visibility. Please limit driving during this period and remember to remove all parked vehicles from the roadways as required by Lacey Township ordinance. Additionally, please make sure all portable basketball hoops, garbage cans, etc. are removed from the roadway. Keeping the roadways clear during and after a snow fall is necessary so the Lacey Township Department of Public Works (DPW) can effectively clear the streets. Thank you for your assistance.
