Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Please click here to go to the registration page.

Traffic News – Rt. 9 Northbound to West on Lacey Road in Forked River – Lacey Township Police Department – Wednesday, March 23, 2016
Route 9 & Lacey Road Intersection in Forked River, NJ Traffic Light Change - New Solid Red Stop Arrow (Rt 9N to Lacey Road Westbound) - After a long period of Lacey Township working with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) to improve the traffic control timing, direction, and pattern of the intersection of Route 9 and Lacey Road, the most significant change has been made for enhanced traffic safety. As of 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016, the traffic flow northbound on Route 9 to westbound (left) on Lacey Road is now controlled with a newly installed solid red traffic arrow. Once the stacked and waiting traffic has had an opportunity to proceed with a green arrow (unimpeded by oncoming traffic), the light will now turn to yellow then to red requiring the traffic intending to make the left onto Lacey Road to stop and wait. This red stop arrow should remove the threat of vehicles travelling from northbound on Route 9 to westbound on Lacey Road turning directly in front of vehicles travelling southbound on Route 9 through the intersection. The Lacey Township Police Department has consistently been handling serious motor vehicle collisions at the intersection. This modification should help significantly reduce future collisions. This modification may cause a [...]
