Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Weekly Police Blotter – Lacey Township Police Department – February 1st, 2017 through February 9th, 2017
Burglary and Theft (Multiple Residences) – Beginning on Sunday, February 5, 2017, Lacey Police responded to a string of residential burglaries in the Bay Way neighborhood of Lanoka Harbor, including but not limited to the 700 block of Sinclair Avenue, the 400 block of Sinclair Avenue, the 300 block of Sinclair Avenue, the 400 block of Barramore Avenue, and Chestnut Drive. Lacey Police Detectives processed each scene and reviewed numerous video surveillance systems to identify a suspect thought to be connected with each burglary. On Thursday, February 9, 2017, Lacey Police Detectives conducted surveillance at the home of the suspect, identified as 30 year-old Michael L. Dautorio of Drew Avenue in Lanoka Harbor. During the surveillance, Michael Dautorio entered a vehicle and was followed from his residence to a Toms River neighborhood where he exited. While Lacey Police Detectives continued surveillance, Michael Dautorio was observed running from a home wearing latex gloves and a ski mask. Michael Dautorio was captured by Lacey Police Detectives Keith Pearce, Brian Flynn, and Kymberly Gudgeon prior to reentering the same vehicle. Services to Begin Today, February 10th, 2017, for Long-Time Resident and Emergency Services Volunteer Robert “Bobby” Frandsen.
(Update) Services to Begin Today for Long-Time Resident and Emergency Services Volunteer Robert “Bobby” Frandsen, Who Passed Away at Age 64. Services for Long-Time Resident and Emergency Services Volunteer Robert “Bobby” Frandsen begin today, February 10th, 2017, at Riggs Funeral Home, located at 130 North Main Street (Route 9) in Forked River, NJ. The viewings will be held today from 2pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 9pm, with a Fireman’s Service at 8:45pm. An additional viewing will be held tomorrow (Saturday) morning, February 11th, 2017, from 9:30am to 11am. Funeral services will begin at 11am with the burial following at Good Luck Cemetery, located at 5000 Haines Street East in Lanoka Harbor, NJ. Weather Alert for Thursday, February 9th, 2017. The latest weather report from the National Weather Service indicates the likelihood of snow accumulations in our area starting in the early morning hours tomorrow morning (Thursday) February 9th, 2017, and continuing through approximately 4:00 p.m. Snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are possible in our area. Hazardous travel can be expected with snow covered roads and poor visibility, so please limit driving during this period. Furthermore, please remember to remove all parked vehicles from the roadways as required by Lacey Township ordinance. Keeping the roadways clear during and after a snow fall is necessary so the Lacey Township Department of Public Works can effectively clear the snow from the streets. Vehicles left in the roadway may be ticketed and towed. Additionally, please make sure all portable basketball hoops, garbage cans, etc. are removed from the roadway.
