Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Child Seat Safety Inspection Event – Tomorrow, March 15th, 2017, 4pm to 7pm
Courtesy Child Seat Safety Inspection Event – The Lacey Township Police Department is hosting a courtesy (non-enforcement) Child Seat Safety Check at the Lanoka Harbor Fire House on Route 9 and Warren Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, tomorrow, March 15, 2017. The event will be held rain or shine from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Specially trained certified child seat technicians from the Lacey Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department will be on site to conduct a courtesy child seat inspection of installed seats and to assist participants in the proper installation of child seats. The officers of the Lacey Township Police Department are dedicated to child safety. Over 80% of child safety seats currently installed in vehicles are either the wrong seats for the child being transported or are incorrectly installed. Technicians, will assist not only in the inspection of the seats but will also educate caregivers on the proper seat selection and installation. The event is being hosted by the Lacey Township Police Department with assistance from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Weather Alert Update – Lacey Township Police Department – Winter Storm Warning -March 13th and 14th, 2017
Weather Alert Update for Monday, March 13th and Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm and Coastal Flood Warning for our area, this evening, Monday, March 13, 2017, beginning at 8:00 pm and ending around 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening, March 14, 2017. Accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of snow can be expected during this storm. Winds between 25 and 35 mph can be expected, with wind gusts as high as 60 mph. Rain and sleet can be expected during the early morning hours of Tuesday morning, with a chance of snow after 2:00 p.m. Additionally, moderate flooding is expected with Tuesday morning's high tide. As always, residents that live in the low-lying areas within the township may park their vehicles in Gille Park near the hockey rink (102 Manchester Avenue). Dangerous conditions are expected during this storm, so please limit driving during this period. Just a reminder, please remove all parked vehicles from the roadway as required by Lacey Township Ordinance. Vehicles left in the roadway will be ticketed and towed. Keeping the roadways clear during and after a snow-fall is necessary so the Lacey Township Department of Public Works can effectively clear the streets. Additionally, [...]

Weather Alert (Winter Storm Stella) for Monday, March 13th and Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 - The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard and Coastal Flood Warning for our area, this evening, Monday, March 13, 2017, beginning at 10:00 pm and ending around 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening, March 14, 2017. Accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of snow can be expected late tonight into tomorrow morning along with additional accumulations of 4 to 8 inches of snow throughout the day on Tuesday. Winds between 25 and 35 mph can be expected, with wind gusts as high as 50 mph. Moderate flooding is expected with Tuesday's morning high tide. As always, residents that live in the low-lying areas within the township may park their vehicles in Gille Park near the hockey rink (102 Manchester Avenue). Snow covered roads and poor visibility due to blizzard like conditions are expected, so please limit driving during this period.
