Criminal Mischief – At approximately 4:45 a.m., on Saturday, September 7, 2013, unknown actors damaged several vehicles in the Oakfield section of Lanoka Harbor. A resident reported hearing glass breaking near his parked vehicle, then observed an unknown vehicle drive away, followed by the sound of more glass breaking. A search of the area by patrol officers uncovered eight vehicles in the area with damage. All of the damaged vehicles were parked in the roadway at the time of the incident. All of the vehicles sustained damage to the driver’s side view mirror. The damage is believed to have been accomplished with a blunt object (e.g., baseball bat). Two of the damaged vehicles were parked on Princeton Avenue; two vehicles were damaged while parked on Radcliffe Road; one vehicle was damaged while parked on Oxford Road; and three vehicles were damaged while parked on Cambridge Road. The combined estimated value of the damage is at least $1,600.
