Lacey Township Police/Recreation Department Skate Park Event Time Change
The start and end times for the remaining Gille Park Skate Park events (October 14th and 28th 2016) have been changed. The events will now begin at 5:00 p.m. and will end at 9:00 p.m. The DJ will be playing music from 6:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.
The October 28th event will include a Halloween costume contest that will be judged at 7:30 p.m. There will be first, second, and third place prizes for the best dressed costume provided by the Lacey Township Recreation Department, and the Lacey Township Municipal Alliance.
The skate park lighting is provided by the Lacey Township Police Department with assistance from both the Forked River and Lanoka Harbor Fire Departments. In addition, both the Lacey Township EMS and Lanoka Harbor EMS will be on scene. The skate park is specifically for the use of skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates. Bicycles are not permitted. All users are required to wear their helmets in the skate park at all times, and follow all of the posted skate park rules.
