Attempted Home Burglary – A resident of Forrest Avenue in Lanoka Harbor reported that on Sunday, March 17, 2013, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. unknown actor(s) attempted to gain entry to the residence through the garage door. The actor(s) forced the garage door upward approximately 2 to 3 feet, breaking the internal brackets that hold the door closed and locked. Items from inside the garage that were stored against the door fell out onto the driveway. It appeared that no entry was made, as the items falling out of the garage may have scared actor(s) away.
