Location: Manchester Avenue – Between Adams Street/Western Boulevard (Gille Park area) Beginning Tuesday, November 1, 2022, road construction will begin on Manchester Avenue between Adams Street and Western Boulevard. The construction is expected to take three days (November 1 -November 3). The northbound lane of Manchester Avenue will be closed at times and traffic will be alternating in the southbound lane. Date: Monday January 10, 2022 Location: Lacey Road – Between Lake Drive/Dover Road (Bamber area) Beginning Wednesday, January 12, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., road construction will begin on Lacey Road between Lake Drive and Dover Road. The westbound lane will be closed and traffic will be alternating in the east bound lane. Expect delays if traveling through the area.

Township News – Lacey Township Police Department – Manchester Avenue Traffic Detour – October 7, 2021

Due to a motor vehicle crash involving a telephone pole, Manchester Avenue in Lacey Township will be detoured at Grove Street and Evans Street. The detour is expected to last for the next few hours while the pole is repaired. Please utilize alternate routes if possible. Thank you.

Township News – Lacey Township Police Department – Road Closure – Sunrise Blvd and Foxwood Lane – August 10, 2021

Due to a motor vehicle crash on Sunrise Blvd and Foxwood Lane in Forked River involving a utility pole, residents and drivers can expect traffic detours and widespread power outages in the area throughout the afternoon and evening of August 10, 2021. Sunrise Blvd will be shut down between Sunset Drive and Fernwood Lane.

Due to an early morning traffic accident, a portion of Route 9 is closed in Lanoka Harbor. The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 9 and First Street causing significant damage to a utility pole. Due to a motor vehicle crash at Route 9 and Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor (Lacey Township) involving a telephone pole, that area of Route 9 will be closed for several hours. There will be detours at two locations (Route 9 and South Street) along with Route 9 and Haines Street in Lacey Township. Please avoid the area if possible and drive safely. The Lacey Township Police Department is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident on Western Blvd., which will be closed from Manchester Ave. to Veteran's Blvd in Berkeley Township. The Lacey Township Police Department is asking all motorists to use an alternate route until the investigation is concluded.
