Day 11: Conducting cell checks each morning is an important responsibility of our early morning shift officers.  Temporary holding cells are utilized under special circumstances.  Cell checks are conducted each morning, to ensure that they are readily safe, secure, and available, if needed at a moment’s notice.  Elf Officer Justice assisted the patrol squad in this morning’s daily cell checks.

Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Elf Officer Justice – December 10th, 2020

Day 10: Elf. Officer Justice has completed his shift today and is assisting with refueling the patrol vehicle. The gas pumps are often a rewarding sight for patrol officers.  As officers refuel periodically during their shifts, refueling our vehicles typically comes at the end of the shift, which is a little over 11 hours.

Day 9: As we pride ourselves on the history of the Lacey Township Police Department, and the fine officers who have come before us, Elf Officer Justice paid his respects to those officers who are no longer with us.  Two of those officers are: Identification Officer James E. Stockton Jr.,#18, and Officer William A. Trainor #32.  Both officers‘ untimely passing came while off duty, however, both were active members of the Lacey Township Police Department.  [...]

Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Elf Officer Justice – December 8th, 2020

Day 8: Today, Elf Officer Justice visited our Police Department Records Bureau.  The Records Bureau, and our clerical staff, are an essential part toward the daily operations of our police department, especially in regards to distributing reports and public information.  Justice enjoyed his time with our Clerical Staff today, and his first use of a copy machine.
