Criminal Mischief – On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 12:42 p.m., Officer Biel responded to the intersection of Laurel Boulevard and Wickford Lane for a report of criminal mischief.  Upon his arrival, Officer Biel observed graffiti on the stop sign at the aforementioned intersection.  Officer Biel checked the surrounding area and found additional graffiti on the stop sign located at the intersection of Warwick Lane and Exeter Place.  The damage was estimated at $100.00. Fraud- On Friday, August 5, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., Officer Schaffer was dispatched to headquarters for a fraud report.  Officer Schaffer met with the victim who reported unknown actor(s) opened several credit cards in their name.  The victim reported they also received notice that an attempt to open another credit card was made but was never authorized.  The victim reported prior to the cards being canceled, the balance on the fraudulent cards totaled $1005.00.
