Fire- On Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:31 p.m., Officer Nyeem Calhoun was dispatched to a Mallard Drive residence in reference to a fire.  Upon arrival, a fully engulfed dumpster was found in the driveway of the residence.  After being extinguished by the Lanoka Harbor Fire Department, the fire was deemed non-suspicious by the Ocean County Fire Marshal. Township News – Lacey Township Police Department – Road Closure – Sunrise Blvd and Foxwood Lane – August 10, 2021

Due to a motor vehicle crash on Sunrise Blvd and Foxwood Lane in Forked River involving a utility pole, residents and drivers can expect traffic detours and widespread power outages in the area throughout the afternoon and evening of August 10, 2021.  Sunrise Blvd will be shut down between Sunset Drive and Fernwood Lane.
