The Lacey Township Police Department is currently accepting resumes for the position of Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainee (part-time).
In order to be eligible for this position, you must have the following Certification:
• BASIC TELECOMMUNICATOR CLASS – BTC
You must also meet the following requirements:
- Citizen of the United States
- Resident of Lacey Township
- Must read, write and speak the English language
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- Good Computer Skills
- Have and demonstrate good moral character, and have not been convicted of any crime constituting an indictable offense, or any offense involving moral turpitude (verified by a background investigation)
- Complete background investigation
- Pass an oral interview
Resumes may be dropped off at the Lacey Township Police Department, 808 Lacey Road, Forked River, no later than 4pm on Friday, August 13, 2021.
