Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Police/Sheriff and Emergency Services Assist Deer from Water – December 10, 2021

On Thursday, December 9, 2021, at approximately 8:30 a.m., this agency received multiple phone calls regarding approximately 12 deer submerged in a lagoon near Capstan and Varuna Drives in Forked River. Warrant Arrest- On Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 8:06 p.m., Officer Martin Julian conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 700 block of Route 9 South in Forked River, after observing a violation. During the stop, it was discovered that the driver, Zalika Hamilton, 26, had an outstanding Ocean Township Municipal Court warrant in the bail amount of $450.
