Criminal Mischief - During the overnight hours (1 a.m.) from Friday, February 1, 2013 into Saturday, February 2, 2013, a resident reported observing a group of unknown juveniles causing criminal mischief to property on Tappan Street in Forked River. The damage appeared random, and the juveniles have not yet been identified.

Theft - On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, a resident of Waikiki Drive in the Forked River Beach Section reported the theft of a green (plastic) canoe valued at $300. The theft is believed to have occurred between the dates of January 15, 2013 and January 27, 2013. The canoe was stolen from the backyard of the residence.
Criminal Mischief - On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, the rear tires of a vehicle parked on Devoe Avenue in Forked River were punctured by an unknown subject(s). The incident occurred during the overnight hours of Tuesday, January 29, 2013 and Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The criminal mischief consisted of $500.00 damage.

On Wednesday afternoon, January 30, 2013, Captain David A. Paprota, Ed.D., conducted a drug awareness workshop for the entire teaching and supervisory staff of the Lacey Township High School. The program will continue with classroom instruction by both officers to the students of the Class of 2013.
