Theft- On Thursday, February 1, 2018, at 5:09 p.m., Officer Martin Julian responded to Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill, 121 Route 9, Forked River. The manager of the restaurant reported that a patron left without satisfying the bill for approximately $25.00. The suspect left the restaurant in a vehicle. The incident remains under investigation. Breaking News: Man arrested in connection to a string of car burglaries in the township
During the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 30, 2018, Lacey Detectives assisted by members of Ocean County SWAT and the Berkeley Township Detective Bureau, executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Norwood Street, Forked River, NJ. The suspect arrested was identified as 47-year-old Lance Romano who is currently renting a room in the home.
