Burglary & Theft (Car) – On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 1:35 a.m., a resident of the 300 block of Lawrence Drive in Lanoka Harbor reported observing a male subject inside his neighbor’s car. The caller reported that he initially observed a late teen to young adult male crouched down behind garbage cans that were curbside in front of his neighbor’s house. A few seconds later, he observed the same male inside the passenger compartment of his neighbor’s vehicle. Upon the resident approaching the male suspect, the suspect fled on foot headed west. The suspect male was described as possibly late teens, white, with a thin build and a crew cut. The suspect was reported to have been wearing a black, zip-up, hooded sweatshirt and black pants or dark jeans. The suspect is believed to possibly be from the neighborhood and may have been seen in the area on prior occasions. The owner of the vehicle reported that $15 had been stolen out of her vehicle’s center console during the incident.
