Theft – On Friday, February 8, 2013, at 9:00 a.m., a resident of 600 block of Chelsea Street reported the theft of a $500 Kenmore condenser from the home’s air conditioning unit. The unit was disassembled at the scene by the thief to gain access to the condensor. Residents should be aware that such thefts are becoming more common as the stolen metals are sold for a fraction of their value as “scrap.”
