Theft – On Sunday, February 3, 2013, a homeowner on Penguin Court in Forked River Beach reported that between 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013, an unknown person stole two air conditioning units from the back yard of his residence. Such thefts continue to be a concern as offenders commit the thefts to sell the expensive units as “scrap” for minimal value.
