Theft – On Monday, June 6, 2016, at 10:32 a.m., Officer Noah Schaffer responded to the Lacey Township Public Library for a report of theft. The victim reported that between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016, an unknown person or persons stole $264 in cash from her locker in the employee locker room at the library. The money was inside her zippered, multi-colored wallet in her purse. The victim noticed that items in her locker had been moved but did not realize that the money had been stolen until the next day. The locker was unlocked at the time of the theft.

Warrant Arrest – On Monday, June 6, 2016, at 9:16 a.m., Officer Michael Hein conducted a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle on Lacey Road near the intersection of Route 9. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 26-year-old Lianne Crincoli of Greenwood Lane in Forked River on two outstanding Bass River Township Municipal Court warrants: one in the amount of $295 and the other in the amount of $392. Lianne Crincoli was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Lianne Crincoli was also issued summonses for Driving While Suspended and Speeding.

Injured Bicyclist – On Sunday, June 5, 2016, at 12:11 a.m., Officer Elton Copes and Officer George Resetar responded to the intersection of Sommerell Avenue and Joffre Street in the Barnegat Pines section of Forked River in reference to a report of an injured bicyclist. The caller reported that she observed a bicyclist lying face down on the ground next to his bicycle. Upon arrival, officers observed that the bicyclist had suffered trauma to his head. The patient, a 25-year Forked River resident, was flown to Jersey Shore Medical Center where he received treatment for his injuries. Investigation at the scene indicated that the bicyclist had fallen off of his bicycle as a result of impairment.

Theft from a Vehicle – On Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 12:00 p.m., Officer Michael Eden responded to Chelsea Street in the Barnegat Pines section of Forked River for a report of theft from a vehicle. The victim reported that between 10:00 p.m. on June 1, 2016 and 11:30 a.m. on June 4, 2016, an unknown person or persons entered her 2016 Mazda and stole a Phillips brand, 9 inch flat screen, portable DVD player valued at $100 and a copy of the movie “Frozen,” which was inside the DVD player. The movie is valued at $25. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft.

Burglary – On Friday, June 3, 2016, at 6:33 p.m., Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas responded to a North Point Court residence in Lanoka Harbor for a report of a burglary. The victim reported that she had not been living at the residence for several months and upon returning home she discovered that someone had entered her residence and stole her property. The victim reported that a Sharp (black) 47″ television with blue ray and assorted US coins had been stolen. The television is valued at $1,300 and the coins are valued at $200. No signs of forced entry were located but a window was found to be unsecured.
