Warrant Arrest – On Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 12:03 a.m., Officer Scott Keefe conducted a traffic stop on Falkenburg Avenue in Forked River. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 28-year-old Thaddeus J. Adamczyk, 3rd, of Falkenburg Avenue in Forked River on an outstanding Stafford Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $539. Thaddeus Adamczyk, 3rd was transported to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail. In addition, he received a traffic summons for Driving with a Suspended License.

Unlawful Possession of a Syringe (Arrest) – On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 9:30 p.m., Officer Michael Verwey was patrolling the parking lot of the Wawa located at 800 Lacey Road in Forked River when he observed a suspicious vehicle with a door left opened. Upon further inspection, Officer Verwey observed that a male subject was lying within the vehicle. A syringe was observed and seized by the officer. Further investigation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Jeffrey A. Smith of Deerhead Lake Drive in Forked River for Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. He was transported to police headquarters, processed, and charged with the unlawful possession of the syringe.

Drug Possession (Arrest) – On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 5:51 p.m., Officers Christopher Meyler and Michael Hein responded to the 800 block of Devon Street in Forked River for a report of an intoxicated male who was refusing to leave. Upon arrival, the male was located and identified as 26-year-old Sean M. Betterley of Devon Street in Forked River. Investigation at the scene led to his arrest for Possession of Alprazolam without a prescription. He was transported to police headquarters and processed. Sean Betterley was released after receiving a criminal summons for Possession of CDS.

Warrant Arrests – On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 5:05 p.m., Officer Anthony Sarno conducted a traffic stop on Ash Road near Predmore Avenue in Lanoka Harbor. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 30-year-old Nicholas Picone of Whitcomb Road in Forked River, on an outstanding Brick Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $89.00. In addition, the vehicle passenger, identified as 24-year-old Alyssa Everett of Brookdale Park Drive in Forked River, was arrested on two (2) Trenton Municipal Court warrants totaling $2,500. Both were transported to police headquarters and processed. Nicholas Picone was released after posting bail. The Trenton Municipal Court released Alyssa Everett ROR.

Theft – On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 9:45 a.m., Officer Jesse Dalziel responded to the 100 block of Seabright Road in Forked River for a theft report. The victim reported that between 10:00 p.m. on December 7, 2015, and 4:00 a.m. on December 8, 2015, an unknown person or persons stole his Star Shower laser light and extension cord with a total value of $60.

Motor Vehicle Accident with Warrant Arrest – On Monday, December 7, 2015, at 5:11 p.m., Officer Frederick Anderson responded to the intersection of Penn Avenue South and Tappan Street in Forked River for a traffic accident. It was reported that a vehicle struck a parked vehicle. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 29-year-old Brian Isdanavich of Whitcomb Road in Forked River, on an outstanding Ocean Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $100. He was transported to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail. The accident was minor and there were no reported injuries. Brian Isdanavich was issued traffic summonses for Driving with a Suspended License and Careless Driving.

Stolen Vehicle (Recovered) – On Sunday, December 6, 2015, at 7:01 p.m., Officer Adam Ewart responded to Jones Road in Forked River for a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant stated that between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on December 6, 2015, an unknown person or persons stole his vehicle which was parked at his residence. The vehicle, a green 2002 Ford Ranger pickup truck, was parked in the front yard and was unlocked with the keys inside. On Tuesday morning, December 8, 2015, at approximately 1:28 a.m., Officer Anthony Sarno was on patrol when he discovered the stolen pickup truck parked unoccupied behind the TJMaxx store located in the parking lot of the Lacey Mall at 348 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor. The vehicle was impounded for processing and the investigation is continuing.

DUI and Drug Possession (Arrest) – On Friday, December 4, 2015, at 4:54 p.m., Officers Jason Lee and Noah Schaffer responded to the intersection of Lacey Road and Route 9 in Forked River for a report of a male driver who appeared to be falling asleep behind the wheel. A description of the vehicle was provided. Upon arrival, Officer Schaffer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Route 9 North near Jones Road. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 45-year-old Robert W. Hahnlen III of Whippany Road in Barnegat, NJ for DUI. In addition, he was found to be in possession of several prescription medications without a prescription. The medications included Trazdone Hydrochloride, Garapentin, and Oxcarbazepine. Robert Hahnlen was transported to police headquarters and processed. He was released after receiving a criminal summons for Possession of CDS and traffic summonses for DUI, Reckless Driving, and CDS in a Motor Vehicle. The vehicle Robert Hahnlen was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

Underage Consumption of Alcohol – On Friday, December 4, 2015, at 11:57 p.m., Officers Elton Copes, George Resetar, and Adam Ewart responded to the area of Paddock Circle in Forked River for a report of a possible intoxicated driver who had reportedly just left a party on Paddock Circle. Unable to locate the described vehicle, officers responded to Paddock Circle and located a male teenager sleeping inside a parked vehicle which was different than the vehicle previously described as leaving the area with an intoxicated driver. Investigation at the scene determined that the teen was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Further investigation revealed that he had just left a party at 5 Paddock Circle. Officers continued an investigation and learned that an unknown amount of underage juveniles had reportedly been attending the party at the residence consuming alcohol. The homeowners, identified as Alan and Shari Schwartz, were each issued a complaint summons for making property available for underage consumption. The teenage male was charged with Consuming Alcoholic Beverages Underage in a Private Residence and released to a parent.

Shoplifting (Arrest) – On Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 5:19 p.m., Officers Noah Schaffer and Dimitri Tsarnas responded to Walmart, located at 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, for a male shoplifter in custody. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 32-year-old Carmine S. Morano of Veterans Boulevard in Waretown, NJ for shoplifting merchandise valued at $65. The reported shoplifting offenses included removing UPC labels and concealing merchandise. Carmine S. Morano was transported to police headquarters, processed, and charged with Shoplifting.

Traffic Accident – On Thursday, December 3, 2015, at approximately 5:45 a.m., Sergeant Robert Flynn, along with Officers John Cernek and Frederick Anderson responded to a motor vehicle crash on West Lacey Road. The crash involved two commercial trucks and resulted in a diesel fuel spill. A 2015 International box truck operated by 25-year-old Brandon Edwards of Willingboro, NJ was traveling west on Lacey Road when it attempted to pass a 1998 MACK dump truck operated by 57-year-old Augusto Domingues of South River, NJ. At the time, the Mack dump truck was slowing in preparation for a left turn into the driveway of 2215 Lacey Road. As the Mack dump truck began its left turn, it collided with the International box truck. The impact resulted in a ruptured fuel tank and a subsequent release of diesel fuel onto the roadway. The driver of the International box truck, Brandon Edwards, was issued a traffic summons at the scene for improper passing. In addition to the Lacey Township Police Department, Berkeley Township HAZMAT, Bamber Lakes Fire Department, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Ocean County Health Department, and Ocean County Road Department assisted in the investigation and clean-up. Lacey Road was partially obstructed during the investigation but was fully reopened as of 0815 hours.

Warrant Arrest – On Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 9:34 p.m., Officers Patrick Watkins and Andrew Slota responded to the 1900 block of Whitcomb Road in Forked River to serve an arrest warrant. The accused, 29-year-old Brian Isdanavich of Whitcomb Road in Forked River, was arrested on an outstanding Stafford Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $578. He was transported to police headquarters and processed. Brian Isdanavich was later turned over to the custody of the Stafford Township Police Department.

Robbery – On Monday, November 30, 2015, at 6:44 p.m., Officer Patrick Watkins responded to the Wawa gas pumps located at 800 Lacey Road in Forked River, NJ for a report of a robbery that had occurred several minutes prior. A gas attendant reported that a subject approached him on foot and demanded all of the money from the cash drawer. No weapon was produced and no threats were reported to have been made. The gas attendant complied and the suspect fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored jeans. There was a four minute delay in the police department being notified; therefore, the subject was able to flee the area prior to the arrival of officers. A search of the area was conducted with the assistance of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit. The Lacey Township Police Department Detective Bureau responded along with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit. The incident is under active investigation.

Drug Paraphernalia (Arrest) – On Saturday, November 29, 2015, at 11:43 p.m., Officer Patrick Watkins responded to the area of Sweetwood Drive and Serpentine Drive in Forked River for a report from a resident of a suspicious vehicle. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 27-year-old April Isdanavich of Gifford Road in Little Egg Harbor, NJ for possession of empty wax folds of heroin, two spoons containing residue, and five hypodermic syringes. April Isdanavich was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and charged with possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Hypodermic Syringes.

Criminal Mischief (Vehicle) – On Saturday, November 29, 2015, at 2:43 p.m., Officer Keith Pearce responded to the 2000 block of Crestwood Drive in Forked River in reference to a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim reported that some person or persons damaged the passenger mirror of his vehicle during the evening hours of Monday, November 23, 2015. The vehicle was parked in the street in front of the residence at the time of the incident. The value of the mirror is estimated at $100.

Theft – On Friday, November 28, 2015, at 2:51 p.m., Officer Michael Hein responded to the to the 2100 block of Good Luck Road in the Bamber Lakes section of the township for a report of a theft. The victim reported that between Saturday, November 21, 2015 and Thursday, November 27, 2015, an unknown person or persons stole his wildlife camera that was bungee corded to a tree in the woods behind his home. The camera is described as being approximately nine inches tall and five inches wide and green camouflage in color. The camera and SD card are valued at $120.

Criminal Mischief – On Thursday, November 27, 2015, at 9:31 p.m., Officer George Resetar responded to the 400 block of Chestnut Drive in Lanoka Harbor for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim reported that between 2:00 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. on November 27, 2015, an unknown person or persons sprayed the passenger side of a vehicle with the contents of a fire extinguisher. The damage to the vehicle is estimated at $25.

Theft from a Vehicle – On Wednesday, November 26, 2015, at 9:27 a.m., Officer Michael Hein responded to the 1700 block of Parkside Drive in Forked River for a report of a stolen purse. The caller reported that between 11:00 p.m. on November 25, 2015 and 8:30 a.m. on November 26, 2015, an unknown person or persons stole a wallet from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of the residence. The value of the stolen items is estimated at $139.

Theft (Bicycle) – On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 9:13 p.m., Officer Adam Ewart responded to the 300 Block of Shady Brook Lane in Forked River for a report of a stolen bicycle. The victim reported that between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on November 25, 2015, an unknown person or persons stole a bluish-green Kink Curb BMX bicycle from in front of the residence. The bicycle is valued at $300.

Shoplifting (Arrest) – On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 3:29 p.m. Officer Jason Lee responded to Walmart, 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, NJ for a report of shoplifting. The loss prevention officer reported that a subject entered the store and filled two gift bags with $207.49 worth of merchandise. The subject then proceeded to the exit and attempted to leave the store without paying for the merchandise which was concealed in the two gift bags. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 39-year-old Sampson C. Gortner of Stone Road in West Creek, NJ. Sampson Gortner was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and charged with Shoplifting.

Burglary & Theft (Arrest) – On Monday, November 23, 2015, at 7:55 p.m., Officer Scott Keefe responded to a residence on Caldwell Avenue in Forked River for a report of a burglary and theft. The victim reported that on November 23, 2015, a person entered his locked bedroom within the residence and stole a Playstation 3 controller, approximately 30 Blue-Ray DVD’s, and a gold ring. The stolen property was valued at $1,030. Entry was made into the room through an unlocked window. The victim believed that another resident of the house was responsible for the theft. On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, members of the Lacey Township Detective Bureau arrested 21-year-old Anthony Gach, Jr. of 131 Caldwell Avenue in Forked River, NJ and charged him with Burglary and Theft. Anthony Gach, Jr. was lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of $20,000 bail.

Heroin Distribution and Possession (Arrests) – On Thursday, November 12, 2015, members of the Lacey Township Detective Bureau observed a male subject exit a vehicle and walk through a wooded area in order to enter a residence located at 826 Hazelton Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, NJ. The subject, 28-year-old Jason Dunsmuir of 707 Hazleton Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, NJ, exited the residence a brief time later and was picked up by the same vehicle that dropped him off. Detectives conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle a short time later. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the two vehicle occupants Jason Dunsmir and 43-year-old Christopher McAndrew of Barnacle Drive in Manahawkin, NJ for possession of Heroin. Christopher McAndrew was also charged with Possession of Suboxone and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. The two occupants of 826 Hazelton Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, 24-year-old Alyssa Everett of 1528 Arient Rd. in Forked River, NJ, and 23-year-old Michael Araneo, were also arrested and charged with charged with Possession of Heroin and Distribution of Heroin.

Harassment by Offensive Touching (Arrest) – On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Officer George Resetar responded to the PetValu Store, located 348 Route 9 North in Forked River, NJ for a report of an incident of offensive touching. The victim reported that a male customer approached her in the store and inappropriately touched her. The victim immediately reported the incident to the Lacey Township Police Department. An investigation conducted by members of the Lacey Township Detective Bureau resulted in 60-year-old Franco Marrone of 708 Wildwood Avenue in Ocean Gate, NJ being charged with Harassment (Offensive Touching) on November 19, 2015.

Criminal Mischief – On Monday, November 23, 2015, at 5:48 p.m., Officer Evan Androcy responded to 34 Manchester Avenue for a report of criminal mischief. The victim reported that an unknown person threw a rock through the rear window of his 2015, Jeep Cherokee between 8:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on November 23, 2015 while it was parked in the lot of a business located in the Field Crest Commons Professional Plaza. The damage is estimated at $500.

Shoplifting (Arrest) – On Monday, November 23, 2015, at 1:43 p.m., Officer Brian Holt responded to the Walmart, located at 580 Route 9 North, for a report of a shoplifter who was detained by store security. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 22-year-old Joshua Aponte of Galloway Road in Galloway, NJ, for shoplifting three fishing reels valued at $209. Joshua Aponte also had an outstanding Galloway Township Municipal Court warrant for his arrest in the amount of $350. Joshua Aponte was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and charged with Shoplifting. Bail was set at $5,000. Joshua Aponte was transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail.

Warrant Arrest – On Monday, November 23, 2015, at 1:43 p.m., Officer Scott Keefe conducted a motor vehicle stop on Taylor Lane near the intersection of Route 9. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, 39-year-old Kimberly Duff of Clearview Street in Forked River, NJ, and a passenger, 38-year-old James Duff of Clearview Street in Forked River, NJ, on outstanding warrants. Kimberly Duff had an outstanding Mount Laurel Township Municipal Court arrest warrant in the amount of $1,500 and James Duff had an outstanding Mount Laurel Township Municipal Court arrest warrant in the amount of $500. Kimberly Duff and James Duff were transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where they were processed and then released on their own recognizance by the authority of the Mount Laurel Municipal Court Clerk.

Theft – On Sunday, November 22, 2015, at 11:30 a.m., Officer Christopher Meyler responded to a residence on the 1500 block of Dee Road for a report of a theft. The homeowner reported that an unknown person or persons stole a Stihl, BR340, leaf blower valued at $300 from his shed.

Warrant Arrest – On Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 7:05 p.m., Special Officer Edgar Lenkauskas conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lake Barnegat Drive near Steuben Avenue in Forked River. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 54-year-old Guy T. Murray of Trenton Avenue in Forked River, NJ, on an outstanding Lacey Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $2,500. Guy Murray was placed under arrest and transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters. Guy Murray was processed and then transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail.

Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, 33-year-old Kimberly Russo of Northern Boulevard in Bayville, NJ, on an outstanding Berkeley Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $350. Kimberly Russo was transported to Lacey Township Police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.

DUI (Arrest) – On Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 10:06 p.m., Sergeant Paul Sullivan conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lacey Road. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, 43-year-old James A. Macphee of Wynnewood Road in Forked River, NJ, for DUI. James Macphee was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane. The vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

Shoplifting (Arrest) – On Thursday, November 19, 2015, at 7:09 p.m., Officer Elton Copes and Officer George Resetar responded to Kohl’s, located at 304 Route 9 North in Forked River, NJ, for a report of a shoplifter in custody. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 48-year-old Donna M. Gilmour of Augusta Road in Whiting, NJ, for shoplifting clothing items valued at $182. Donna Gilmour was processed and charged with Shoplifting.

Drug Possession (Arrest) – On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 8:30 p.m., Sergeant Ronald Buxton responded to the parking lot of the St. Pius Church, located at 300 Lacey Road in Forked River, NJ, for a report of a suspicious male lying on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, Sergeant Buxton located 26-year-old Christopher Cox of 1404 Bullard Avenue in Forked River. While Sergeant Buxton was speaking with Christopher Cox, Officer Charles May observed wax folds containing Heroin and a hypodermic syringe. Christopher Cox was placed under arrest and transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters. Christopher Cox was processed and charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe.

Theft – On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 5:24 p.m., Officer Elton Copes responded to a residence on the 500 block of Crosswick Avenue in Forked River for a report of theft. The homeowner reported that an unknown person or persons entered the crawlspace of his recently purchased residence and forcibly removed a large amount of the copper water piping. The homeowner reported that this occurred between October 22, 2015 and November 18, 2015. The value of the damage and theft is estimated at $1,000.

Criminal Mischief – On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 4:01 p.m., Officer Jason Lee responded to a Dolphin Court residence for a report of criminal mischief. The victim, Thomas Margi, reported that an unknown person or persons broke the rear glass window of his GMC Sierra pickup truck with a rock. The incident occurred while the vehicle was parked in front of the residence between 6:00 p.m. on November 15, 2015 and 4:40 p.m. on November 15, 2015. The damage is estimated at $500.

Shoplifting – On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., Officer Jason Lee responded to Walmart, located at 580 Route 9, for a report of shoplifting. A Walmart asset protection employee reported that the same suspect stole merchandise on November 16, 2015 and then attempted to steal merchandise on November 17, 2015. The suspect was described as a white male with a beard, gray sweat shirt, and jeans. On November 16, 2015 the suspect stole a pet bed valued at $20 and work boots valued at $50. On November 17, 2015 the suspect attempted to steal a 43 inch Vizio television valued at $388. The suspect removed the Spider Wrap Alarm valued at $10, utilizing a shoplifted Multi-Tool valued at $10. The alarm sounded and the suspect fled the scene without the merchandise. The incidents are under investigation.

DUI (Arrest) – On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at 1:45 a.m., Officer Scott Keefe and Officer Patrick Watkins responded to the Wawa, located at 444 Route 9 S in Forked River, for a report of an intoxicated driver. A witness reported that the vehicle entered the parking lot and rubbed up against a curb for several feet before parking improperly between to parking spaces. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 42-year-old Deborah A. Mirra of NE 4th Avenue in Cape Coral FL, for DUI. Deborah Mirra was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and then charged with DUI and Reckless Driving. The vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

Warrant Arrest – On Tuesday. November 17, 2015, at 11:32 a.m., Officer Frederick Anderson conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Arlington Avenue and Lacey Road. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 47-year-old Frederick W. Meyer of Lake Road in Brick, NJ, on an outstanding Brick Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $500. Frederick Meyer was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and then released after posting bail.

Shoplifting and Possession of Stolen Property (Arrests) – On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 18, 2015, detectives arrested two individuals at Home Depot in Forked River. Detectives watched 43-year-old Lorraine Schuster of 807 Hazelton Avenue in Lanoka Harbor exit a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Jeffery Burgoyne of 803 Sinclair Avenue in Lanoka Harbor and enter Kohl’s on Route 9 in Forked River. Lorraine Schuster emerged from the store several minutes afterward and reentered the vehicle. Jeffrey Burgoyne was then observed entering the store and returning property without a receipt. The couple was followed to Home Depot where similar activity was observed. Lorraine Schuster was arrested as she exited Home Depot concealing stolen merchandise. Jeffrey Burgoyne was arrested simultaneously as he attempted to return stolen electrical wire. Lorraine Schuster was charged with two counts of shoplifting while Burgoyne was charged with one count of shoplifting and one count of possessing stolen property. The stolen property was valued at $200.

Structure Fire (Residence) – On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at 5:10 p.m., Officers Kymberly Gudgeon and Jason Lee responded to the 800 block of Spar Drive in Forked River for a structure fire. The Forked River Fire Department and Lacey EMS also responded. The fire, which was contained to a laundry room, was extinguished; however, the entire house was engulfed in smoke. The Ocean County Fire Marshal responded and determined the fire was accidental. An adult male resident was treated at the scene by the Lacey Township EMS for possible smoke inhalation.

Theft – On Monday, November 16, 2015, at 2:46 p.m., Officer Daniel Ricciardella responded to the Lacey Township Middle School, located at 660 Denton Avenue in Forked River, for a theft report. The complainant reported that between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on November 16, 2015, her daughter’s bicycle was stolen from the bike rack located in the rear of the Lacey Middle School. The bicycle is described as an orange and pink Panama Jack Beach Cruiser valued at $180. The bicycle was reported to have been locked at the time of the theft.

Theft and Criminal Mischief – On Monday, November 16, 2015, at 1:33 p.m., Officer Keith Pearce responded to mile marker 17 on Route 539 for a report of a theft from a sign trailer owned by the Ocean County Road Department. Upon arrival the Ocean County Road Department employee stated that between November 3, 2015, and November 16, 2015, an unknown person or persons forced entry into the control box by breaking a lock and stole a 12-volt battery. In addition the unknown suspect(s) stole a solar panel located on the rear of the trailer. The theft is estimated at $650 and the damage is estimated at $100.

Theft from a Boat (Burglary) – On Monday, November 16, 2015, at 5:21 a.m., Officer Patrick Watkins responded to the Lanoka Harbor Marina located at 888 Bay Way in Lanoka Harbor for a theft report. The victim reported that between November 14, 2015, and November 16, 2015, an unknown person or persons entered his boat docked in a slip and forced entry into the cabin. Once the cabin was entered approximately $2,802 worth of rods and reels were stolen. The incident is under investigation.

Warrant Arrest – On Sunday, November 15, 2015, at 2:10 a.m., Officer Anthony Sarno was patrolling the parking lot of Wawa, located at 701 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, when he observed a car parked in a handicap space without a handicap permit. The registered owner of the vehicle was found to have a warrant. Officer Sarno made contact with the vehicle owner, identified as 35-year-old Kelly A. Cornetto of Frederick Drive in Bayville, NJ. Officer Sarno arrested her on an outstanding no-bail warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Kelly A. Cornetto was transported to police headquarters and processed. She was later lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility on the no-bail warrant.

Warrant Arrest – On Sunday, November 15, 2015, at 12:09 a.m., Officer Patrick Watkins was on patrol in the parking lot of Walmart, located at 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, when he observed a suspicious vehicle. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the sole occupant, identified as 48-year-old John M. Curry of Continental Street in Forked River, on an outstanding Berkeley Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $350. He was transported to police headquarters and processed. John Curry was later turned over to the custody of the Berkeley Township Police Department.

Warrant Arrest – On Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 9:20 p.m., Officer Scott Keefe was on patrol on the 800 block of Buena Vista Road in Forked River when he observed a male subject who was known to him to have an active warrant. Officer Keefe made contact with the male, identified as 28-year-old Armin Godier of Sarasota Drive in Forked River. He was arrested on an outstanding Toms River Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $750. Armin Godier was transported to police headquarters and processed. He was later lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail.

Shoplifting and Drug Possession (Arrest) – On Friday, November 13, 2015, at 9:31 p.m., Officers Jesse Dalziel and Michael Verwey responded to the Wawa, located at 444 Taylor Lane in Forked River, for a male subject who was reportedly causing a disturbance. The male left the store prior to the arrival of officers. Upon arriving to the area, officers located the male on the 400 block of Route 9 North. Investigation at the scene determined that the male, identified as 38-year-old Kristofer Coltenback of Martin Drive in Whiting, NJ, had shoplifted merchandise valued at $36.22 from the Wawa. In addition, he was found to be in possession of CDS. Kristofer Coltenback was transported to police headquarters and processed. Kristofer Coltenback was charged with Shoplifting and Possession of Marijuana.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle – On Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 8:19 p.m., Officer Adam Ewart responded to the 1500 block of Whitcomb Road in Forked River for a theft report. The victim reported that between 4:00 p.m. on November 11, 2015 and 8:00 a.m. on November 12, 2015, an unknown person or persons entered her vehicle that was parked in front of the residence and stole property, including but not limited to, medication with a total value of $27. There were no signs of forced entry.

Warrant Arrest – On Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 5:46 p.m., Officer Jason Lee responded to the intersection of Lacey Road and Newark Avenue in Forked River for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of one of the drivers, identified as 25-year-old Keith C. Sisler of South Broadway in Gloucester, NJ, on an outstanding no-bail Camden County Prosecutor’s Office warrant. He was transported to police headquarters and processed. Keith Sisler was later lodged on the warrant in the Ocean County Correctional Facility.

Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary – On Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 12:39 p.m., Lieutenant Michael DiBella, along with Officers Jason Lee, and Frederick Anderson responded to the 800 block of Hazelton Avenue in Lanoka Harbor for a reported burglary in progress. A description of the suspect was provided and the area was searched without contact with the subject. The Lacey Township Detective Bureau, along with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit and CSI unit responded. Detective Brian Flynn is handling the investigation.

DUI, Warrant, Obstructing, and Drug Possession (Arrest) – On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at 11:36 p.m., this agency received a report of an erratic motorcyclist heading north on Route 9. The caller reported that the motorcyclist turned into the parking lot of Caffrey’s Tavern located at 440 Route 9 North in Forked River. Officers Charles May and Elton Copes responded. Upon arrival, officers located the motorcyclist, identified as 54-year-old Nelson M. Hoover of Ridge Avenue in Manahawkin, at Caffrey’s Tavern. An investigation at the scene led to his arrest for DUI. In addition, a Long Beach Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $500 was located for his arrest. Nelson Hoover was transported to police headquarters and processed. He was also found to be in possession of CDS. Nelson Hoover was later turned over to the custody of the Long Beach Township Police Department after receiving traffic summonses for DUI, Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests, Driving with a Suspended License, Unregistered Motorcycle, Uninsured Motorcycle, and Reckless Driving. In addition he received a criminal summons for Obstructing the Administration of Law and Possession of Marijuana. The motorcycle Nelson Hoover was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

Drug Possession (Arrest) – On Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 10:17 p.m., Officer Anthony Sarno stopped a motor vehicle on the 700 Block of Clairmore Avenue for suspended registration. While speaking with the driver, 20-year-old Casey Sinopoli of Clairmore Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, and the passenger, 31-year-old Derek Simone of Bonita Lane in Manahawkin, NJ, Officer Sarno observed a spoon with what appeared to be Heroin residue on the floor of the vehicle. Casey Sinopoli was placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle uncovered 99 wax folds of Heroin, a pipe containing what is believed to be crack cocaine, 8 hypodermic syringes, and other drug paraphernalia. Derek Simone was also placed under arrest. Casey Sinopoli also had an active Hamilton Township Municipal Court traffic warrant $289. Both suspects were transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where they were processed. The investigation led to charges of Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Hypodermic Syringes, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Judge Damian Murray set bail at $50,000 each. Both suspects were transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail. Motor vehicle summonses were also issued to Casey Sinopoli for Suspended Driver’s License, Suspended Registration, Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle, Uninsured Vehicle, and Maintenance of Lamps.

Warrant Arrest – On Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 1:32 a.m., Officer Scott Keefe responded to a residence on the 400 block of Beach Boulevard for a report of a dispute. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 45-year-old Lori Smith of Beach Boulevard in Forked River on an outstanding Ocean County Sheriff’s Department warrant in the amount of $657. Lori Smith was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and then transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail.

Disorderly Conduct & Resisting Arrest – On Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 1:31 a.m., Officer John McKee responded to the 200 block of East Haines Street for a report of a disorderly person who refused to the leave a residence. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 22-year-old Vincent Belluardo of Pelican Drive in Bayville, NJ, for disorderly conduct. Vincent Belluardo was not cooperative and physically resisted officers during the arrest. Vincent Belluardo was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

DUI (Arrest) – On Saturday, November 07, 2015, at 4:50 a.m., Officer Scott Keefe was on patrol when he was flagged down by a resident who reported that a vehicle had left the scene after crashing into the fence of a residence on the 1400 block of Jay Street in Forked River. The vehicle was located a short distance away along with the driver of the vehicle. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, 26-year-old Miguel N. Montes of James Street, Toms River NJ, for DUI. Miguel Montes was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, where he provided samples of his breath. Miguel Montes was processed and issued motor vehicle summonses for DUI, Reckless Driving, Unlicensed Driver, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Failure to Report an Accident. The vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

Warrant Arrest – On November 6, 2015, at 5:14 p.m., Officer Michael Verwey and Officer Jesse Dalziel responded to the Lacey Inn Motel, located at 229 N. Main Street in Forked River, for a report of a dispute. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 27-year-old Amanda Centanni of Beach Boulevard in Forked River, NJ, on an outstanding Toms River Township Municipal Court traffic warrant in the amount of $150. Amanda Centanni was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.

Theft from a Vehicle – On Friday, November 06, 2015, at 12:52 p.m., Officer Brian Holt responded to Police Headquarters to take a report of a theft. The complainant reported that between 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 05, 2015 and 9:00 a.m. on November 06, 2015, an unknown person or person(s) entered her unlocked vehicle and stole some looses change and her wallet. The vehicle, a white, 2007, Pontiac G6 was parked in the driveway of a residence on the 500 block of Holmes Avenue. The Black Leather Wallet contained a NJ Driver’s License and a Chase Bank Debit Card. The value of the stolen items is estimated at $20.

Warrant Arrest – On Thursday, November 05, 2015, at 10:13 p.m., Officer Scott Keefe responded to the 400 block of Center Street in Forked River for a report of a dispute. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 43-year-old Oscar Dillard III of Center Street in Forked River on an outstanding Ocean County Sheriff’s Department warrant in the amount of $20,000. Oscar Dillard III was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and then transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail.

Drug Possession and DUI (Arrest) – On November 5, 2015, at 5:33 p.m., Officer Michael Verwey and Officer Jesse Dalziel responded to the area of Route 9 North and First Street for a three-car motor vehicle collision. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 35-year-old Leah S. Lamendola of Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor, NJ, for DUI and possession of Oxycodone, Alprazolam, and methadone which she possessed without a valid prescription. Leah Lamendola was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with bail set at $50,000 by Judge Damian Murray. Leah Lamendola was also charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child as a result of her having three children (ages 7, 6, and 2) in her vehicle during the incident. Leah Lamendola was issued motor vehicle summonses for DUI, DUI with a Minor in the Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving, and Careless Driving. The juveniles were turned over to the custody of a family member. Leah Lamendola was transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail. The vehicle she was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

Criminal Mischief – On November 5, 2015, at 10:38 a.m., Officer Christopher Meyler responded to the 1400 Block of Bullard Avenue in Forked River for a report of criminal mischief. The homeowner reported that between 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 and 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015, the front glass storm door of his residence was damaged. The damage appeared to be caused by a small projectile. The damage is estimated at $300.

Theft (Arrest) – On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 3:42 p.m., Officer Jason Lee responded to Kohl’s, 304 Route 9, Forked River, NJ for a report of a stolen purse. The victim reported that her purse was stolen from the shoe department of Kohl’s while she was shopping. The victim used a special application to ping and locate her phone which indicated that it was in the parking lot of Mud City Crab House. Officer Lee searched the area and found a small pink bag which had been in her stolen bag. The other items could not be located at the time. The value of the stolen purse and contents is estimated at $1,100. On Wednesday, November 4, 2015, detectives continued the investigation and determined that the purse was stolen by 44-year-old Amy L. Lathrop from South Main Street in West Creek, New Jersey. Detective Brian Flynn arrested Amy Lathrop and charged her with Theft (3rd Degree). The missing property was recovered during the investigation.
