UPDATE to the Weekly Police Blotter thru May 6, 2013 (https://laceypd.org/weekly-police-blotter/). On May 1, 2013, a Lanoka Harbor resident reported that a ring valued at $840 was stolen from her home. Responding officers found no forced entry and acquired the name of a recent visitor to the home who might be responsible. Detective Ronald Buxton conducted a follow up investigation and recovered the ring after it was sold by 21-year-old Aiden Dolly of Lanoka Harbor. Further investigation revealed that 21-year-old Kyle Pianetti of Lanoka Harbor (the aforementioned visitor) was responsible for the theft and conspired with Aiden Dolly to sell the ring. Kyle Pianetti was charged with theft of movable property and Aiden Dolly was charged with possession of stolen property. Both were released without bail pending a court appearance.
