The New Jersey Civil Service Commission Law Enforcement Examination (LEE) application period is currently open and will officially close on September 4, 2013. The Lacey Township Police Department hires its full-time, regular police officers from a pool of eligible candidates through the New Jersey Civil Service Commission (NJCSC) formal testing process for entry-level law enforcement. Any person interested in being considered for a police officer position with the Township of Lacey must apply with the state through the NJCSC website at http://info.csc.state.nj.us/Vats/WebAnno.aspx?FileNumber=17220 and then sit for the state exam which should be administered this fall.
The Lacey Township Police Department does not consider applicants until the State of New Jersey scores the exam and supplies the township with a ranked list of eligible candidates. The new list will not be available until early 2014. Anyone interested in applying for the NJCSC LEE exam must register online at http://info.csc.state.nj.us/Vats/WebAnno.aspx?FileNumber=17220 prior to September 4, 2013.
