On April 19, and May 17, 2021, the Walmart Corporation sponsored COVID-19 vaccination clinics for residents of Lacey Township 55 years of age or older. The vaccination clinics took place at the Lanoka Harbor Fire Department, 2 Warren Ave in Lacey Township. In total, 870 vaccinations were provided over the course of these two dates.
These clinics would not have been possible without the support of Mr. Joseph Michael, who is the Health and Wellness Director (Jersey Shore) for the Walmart Corporation, Lacey Township Mayor Peter Curatolo, and the Lanoka Harbor Fire Department.
