UPDATE: Lacey Township experienced a power outage throughout the township this morning (Sunday, November 24, 2013). All of the traffic lights throughout the township were out, and as a result, residents were temporarily asked stay off the roadways for safety reasons. The power was quickly restored to most of the township by 8:28 a.m. with only the traffic light at Haines Street and Manchester Avenue in Lanoka Harbor still being out. As of 9:28 a.m. the intersection of Haines Street and Manchester Avenue is being controlled by a police officer directing traffic and power remains out for a section of Lanoka Harbor. The power outage may have been the result of arching wires.
