Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Neighborhood Crime Alert – Tuesday, April 23, 2013 – Nautilus Boulevard, Forked River
Criminal Mischief – On Sunday, April 21, 2013, at 10:05 a.m., a resident of the 400 block of Nautilus Boulevard reported criminal mischief to a vehicle. The damage was related to possible rocks being thrown at the vehicle during the overnight hours.
Neighborhood Crime Alert – Tuesday, April 23, 2013 – 146 Marine Plaza, Forked River
Theft and Criminal Mischief – On April 20, 2013, at 2:30 p.m., a representative of Tides End Marina, 146 Marine Plaza, Forked River, reported the theft of a battery from a backhoe tractor that was parked on the property. The backhoe was damaged as well.
Update – Sunday, April 21, 2013 – Arrest & Charge for Theft from April 3, 2013
Update - On April 3, 2013, Patrol Officer Della Sala received a report of a theft from a pocketbook that occurred at 815 Route 9 N, Lanoka Harbor. The incident involved the theft of a credit card and $25.00 cash. The credit card was used illegally at the Taylor Lane Wawa on two occasions. The suspect attempted to use the card two additional times -- once at the Taylor Lane Wawa and a second at the 7-11 (by the Shell Station). The additional two attempts were unsuccessful. Officer Della Sala conducted the follow-up investigation leading to the arrest and charge of 18-year-old Brittany Dickinson of Forked River. She was charged with the theft of the cash, the theft of the credit card, as well as the fraudulant use of the credit card and the attempted use of the credit card.
