Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Neighborhood Crime Alert – Saturday, April 27, 2013 – Sinclair Avenue, Lanoka Harbor
Trespassing and Theft - At 3:50 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013, a Sinclair Avenue, Lanoka Harbor, resident observed a male subject enter his parent's fenced in backyard and steal two extension cords with a total value of $80. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’8’, thin build, dressed in a black sweatshirt and carrying a dark-colored backpack. He was then seen entering the passenger side of a rust-colored Jeep Wrangler immediately after the theft. This matches a suspect description as provided in a similar incident of theft which occurred on April 23, 2013, on Sheppard Avenue in Forked River.
Neighborhood Crime Alert – Friday, April 26, 2013 – Lacey Mall Parking Lot
Car Burglary - On Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 5:00 p.m., a shopper at the Lacey Shop Rite reported that between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered her locked vehicle by forcing down a rear window that was left partially open. Once inside the car, the subject(s) emptied the vehicle owner's purse on the seat and stole a wallet containing $20.00 in cash, credit cards, along with prescription medications. The total theft is valued at $170.00.
Neighborhood Crime Alert – Thursday, April 25, 2013 – Shepard Avenue, Forked River
Theft - On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 9:40 a.m., a resident of Shepard Avenue in Forked River reported his marine battery and wire harness were stolen from his boat trailer in the morning hours of April 23rd. The battery was mounted on the front of the trailer to operate the trailer winch. A neighbor reported witnessing a thin, white male loading a battery into his vehicle while he was parked next to the victim's residence earlier that morning at approximately 9 a.m. The suspect was reportedly operating a rust-colored, Jeep Wrangler with a black top. The suspect jeep reportedly had black wheel flares on the wheel wells.
