Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Traffic Delays – Lacey Road & Rt. 9, Forked River – Road Construction
Route 9 & Lacey Road Intersection (July 10, 2013) - The primary construction work is now beginning on the Lacey Road & Route 9 intersection improvement project. Motorist can expect delays at different times throughout both the day and night due to the ongoing construction. Motorists are asked to use caution while traveling through the area, as there will be shoulder closures as well as lane shifts at varying times.

Weekly Police Blotter - Press Release July 2nd to July 8th, 2013 . Heroin Distribution (Arrest) - On Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., Officer Robert Flynn arrested 18-year-old Roger Krinic, Jr. of Forked River at Bud Mezzara Park on Lakeside Drive South in Forked River and charged him with Possession of CDS (Heroin), Possession of the CDS with the Intent to Distribute, and the 2nd Degree Crime of Distributing CDS in a Park. Roger Krinic, Jr. was processed and transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of $100,000 bail. On Wednesday, July 3, 2013, Detective Robert Surtees continued this investigation with the arrest of 24-year-old Shannon Augustino of Forked River. Shannon Augustino was charged with Loitering to Obtain CDS. Shoplifting (Arrest) - On Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10:01 p.m., Officers Kymberly Gudgeon and Michael Eden responded to the Lacey Walmart for a shoplifter. Upon their arrival, 56-year-old Deborah Parente of South Toms River was arrested for shoplifting merchandise valued at $83.52. Deborah Parente was processed and later released after receiving a criminal summons. Neighborhood Crime Alert – Saturday, July 6, 2013 – E. Hickory Drive Area, Lanoka Harbor
Criminal Mischief - On late Friday night, July 5, 2013 into the early morning hours of Saturday, July 6, 2013, unidentified teenagers purposely destroyed residential property along East Hickory Drive, Bowsprit Point, and Pine Street in Lanoka Harbor. At approxiamtely 1 a.m., a resident observed a group of juveniles throwing garbage cans at a house on East Hickory Drive. It was further learned that another resident came out of her home to find what she described as a tall, white, thin, teenage male smashing her solar lights on Pine Street. Other damage was found in the area as well.
