Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Weekly Police Blotter September 23rd thru September 29th, 2015 . Obstructing the Administration of Law and Resisting (Arrest) – On Monday, September 28, 2015, at 9:29 p.m., Officer John McKee conducted a traffic stop in a driveway located on the 400 block of Lake Barnegat Drive North in Lanoka Harbor. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Louis Dautorio 4th of Center Street in Forked River, immediately exited the vehicle in an attempt to confront Officer McKee. After refusing to get back into his vehicle and refusing to provide his driving credentials, Officer McKee advised him he was under arrest for obstructing the administration of law. During the arrest process, Louis Dautorio, 4th physically resisted being handcuffed by Officer McKee. As Officer McKee was forced to struggle with the non-compliant suspect, 19-year-old Marcus Gervasini of Leanne Court in Forked River exacerbated the situation by getting extremely close to Officer McKee and holding a cell phone camera in the officer’s face while the officer was actively attempting to arrest and handcuff the physically resisting suspect. Temporary Parking – Gille Park – Storm Related Parking for Vehicles in Low-Lying Areas – Thursday, October 1, 2015
Temporary Parking - Gille Park has been designated as a temporary parking area for residents of Lacey Township to park vehicles from low-lying areas during the period of potential flooding due to the impending storm activity. Vehicles may be legally parked within a parking stall and must be removed in a timely manner following the storm(s).
