Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. The 2016 Cop Collectible Card Program is currently in Week #2. The checklist which lists all of the Cop Cards and the locations where they may be collected may be printed out by clicking: Lacey Cop Card Checklist 2016. . . . . The profiled cards for the period of Sunday, April 10th, 2016 thru Saturday, April 16th, 2016 are as follows: Card #13 - Detective Keith Pearce Sponsored by Rotary Club of Forked River, 818 West Lacey Road (Municipal Building), Forked River Card #71 - Calendar Card (Pictured in this post) Sponsored by Exelon Corp. as well as the First Energy Corp., (Police Station Only) . These Cop Collectible Cards may be obtained at police headquarters as this week's (4/10/2016 - 4/16/2016) profiled cards. Most other cards in the set may be obtained through the sponsor locations listed on the Cop Card Checklist. Weekly Police Blotter March 29th thru April 4th, 2016 . . Drug Distribution (Arrests) - On Thursday, April 1, 2016, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Detectives from the Lacey Township Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Southern Enforcement Unit located a white 2015, Dodge Journey that was allegedly transporting quantities of Heroin from the Trenton area into the Lacey Township. The vehicle was stopped and found to be occupied by the following Trenton residents: sister and brother, 24-year-old Ivory L. Lewis of 63 Brynmawr Avenue in Trenton, NJ and 23-year-old Tiemear Lewis of 844 Carteret Avenue in Trenton, NJ. A subsequent search of the suspect vehicle located approximately 350 individual dosage units of heroin, along with a quantity of Marijuana. Both Ivory Lewis and Tiemear Lewis were arrested and transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters. Ivory L. Lewis was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute. Ocean County Superior Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels, JSC set bail at $40,000, no ten percent. Weekly Police Blotter March 22nd thru March 28th, 2016 . . Drug Distribution (Arrests) - At approximately 6:30 pm on March 28, 2016, Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Operations Group (Southern Enforcement Unit) and the Lacey Township Police Department located a 2005, Ford Taurus, identified as allegedly being utilized to transport quantities of heroin into Lacey Township, which was occupied by 57-year-old Michael A. Araneo, 23-year-old Michael A. Araneo II, and 35-year-old Nicholas M. Picone. A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the area of Bay Way and Maple Road in the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey Township. A search of the suspect vehicle located approximately 550 individual dosage units of Heroin along with a quantity of Cocaine. Police also seized approximately $1,200 dollars in cash. All three subjects were subsequently arrested and transported to the Lacey Township Police Department. Michael A. Araneo, 57, of 826 Hazelton Ave, Lanoka Harbor, NJ, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Resisting Arrest. Ocean County Superior Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels, JSC set bail at $75,000. Mr. Araneo was subsequently housed in the Ocean County Correctional Facility. Michael A. Araneo II, 23, of 826 [...]
