Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Traffic Notice – Lacey Road between Dover Road and Aspen Road – Lacey Township Police Department – 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 18th to 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016
Traffic Notice - On Monday evening, April 18, 2016, the county will be repaving the portion of West Lacey Road between Dover Road and Aspen Road. The project is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening, April 18, 2016 and is expected to be completed by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, April 19, 2016. Delays should be expected and alternate routes should be use if possible to avoid the area during the construction.

Weekly Police Blotter April 5th thru April 11th, 2016 . . Warrant Arrest – On Monday, April 11, 2016 at 3:08 p.m., Officer Michael Hein responded to 517 Middle Branch Drive in the Forked River Beach section of the township to assist Seaside Heights Police Detectives in serving an arrest warrant on 27-year-old Patrick J. Bulmer of Middle Branch Drive in Forked River NJ. The arrest warrant was issued out of the Seaside Heights Municipal Court for 3rd degree Aggravated Assault in the amount of $25,000. Patrick J. Bulmer was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and then turned over to the custody of the Seaside Heights Police Department. Theft – On Monday, April 11, 2016, at 9:57 a.m., Officer Michael Hein Responded to a Lakeside Drive residence in the Barnegat Pines section of Forked River for a report of theft. The victim reported that an unknown person or persons entered her white, 2011, Hyundai Santa Fe between 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016 and 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 and stole items. Department News – Social Media Presentation to Ocean County DART Coalition – Lacey Township Police Department – Tuesday, April 12, 2016
Department News - On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, Chief David A. Paprota, Ed.D., conducted a one-hour presentation at the Lacey Township Community Hall to the Ocean County DART (Drug Prevention) Coalition entitled, "The Influence of Social Media on Drug Use by Teens: A Law Enforcement Perspective." The multi-faceted presentation included the distribution of a special "Teens and Social Media: If You Only Knew" informational brochure authored by Chief Paprota that is also available to parents in the lobby of police headquarters. In addition to the brochure, the coalition members were also provided a "Parents Guide to Social Media" which, along with the information brochure, were funded by the Lacey Municipal Police Foundation. The "Parents Guide to Social Media" guide is also available to parents through the police department.
