Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Weather Alert – Lacey Township Police Department – Snow Accumulation for Today, Saturday, January 7th, 2017
Weather Alert for Today, January 7th, 2017. The latest weather report from the National Weather Service indicates snow accumulations between 5 to 10 inches in our area throughout today. The winter storm warning will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. this evening. The highest amounts of snow are anticipated across southern Delaware and southeastern New Jersey, with the highest along the Jersey Shore. Hazardous travel can be expected with snow covered roads and poor visibility so please limit driving during this period. Just a reminder, please remove all parked vehicles from the roadways today as required by Lacey Township ordinance. Keeping the roadways clear during and after a snow fall is necessary so the Lacey Township Department of Public Works (DPW) can effectively clear the streets. Additionally, please make sure all portable basketball hoops, garbage cans, etc. are removed from the roadway. Thank you for your assistance. -Chief Michael C. DiBella
Weekly Police Blotter – Lacey Township Police Department – December 30th, 2016 through January 6th, 2017
Warrant Arrest (Multiple) – On Friday, January 6, 2017, at 5:00 p.m., Officers Michael Verwey and Charles May responded to the 700 block of Briar Road in Lanoka Harbor, to serve two outstanding warrants. Upon arrival the officers arrested 24-year-old Kyle Pianetti of Briar Road in Lanoka Harbor, on two (2) outstanding Lacey Township Municipal Court Warrants. Warrant number one (1) was issued in the bail amount of $500.00 and warrant number two (2) was issued in the bail amount of $539.00. Kyle Pianetti was transported to police headquarters and processed. He was lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of bail. Shoplifting – On Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 4:58 p.m., Officer George Resetar responded to Walmart, located at 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, for a shoplifting. The loss prevention employee reported that approximately an hour prior to contacting the police, a female subject was observed on security video putting three (3) Nest Thermostats and a bag into a shopping cart.
