Code Red Reverse 911 Emergency Alert Registration
Lacey Township residents are encouraged to sign up for Reverse 9-1-1 notifications through Onsolve CodeRed on their cellular telephones. Click here to be taken to the account access page. The police department utilizes the Reverse 9-1-1 system to send out important telephone messages to residents based on the geographic location of each resident’s home telephone. While land-line, home and business telephones are already in the system’s database, cellular phone numbers are not in the system. This feature allows residents to register additional phone numbers in the Onsolve CodeRed system, so an emergency message related to Lacey Township will be received regardless of the resident’s location at the time. Township News – Overdose Awareness Event – Tomorrow Evening, August 30, 2018 – 6pm to 9pm – Lacey United Methodist Church
*** Overdose Awareness Event, Thursday, August 30th, 2018 *** Our local overdose awareness event, hosted by Young People in Recovery of Ocean County, will be held tomorrow evening (Thursday), August 30, 2018, from 6pm to 9pm at the Lacey United Methodist Church, located at 203 Lacey Road in Forked River. This event is one of many being held nationally, and in New Jersey it is provided by Fed Up, a local coalition working to stop the opioid epidemic . The nationwide event is designed to bring education and more awareness to the opioid epidemic, along with remembering those we lost. Featured speakers for our local event include Congressman Tom MacArthur, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato and Lacey Township Police Chief Michael C. DiBella. In addition, there will be other speakers, including, but not limited to, speakers from treatment centers, recovery groups, and local clergy. Organizations attending include, but are not limited to, Lifeline Recovery Support Services, Hope Sheds Light, Young People in Recovery of Ocean County, Recovery Centers of America, the DART Prevention Coalition, NJ Reentry Corporation, Integrity House, Mental Health Association in New Jersey Inc, and America's Keswick. Weekly Police Blotter November 3rd thru November 10th, 2015 . Drug Possession (Arrest) – On Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 10:17 p.m., Officer Anthony Sarno stopped a motor vehicle on the 700 Block of Clairmore Avenue for suspended registration. While speaking with the driver, 20-year-old Casey Sinopoli of Clairmore Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, and the passenger, 31-year-old Derek Simone of Bonita Lane in Manahawkin, NJ, Officer Sarno observed a spoon with what appeared to be Heroin residue on the floor of the vehicle. Casey Sinopoli was placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle uncovered 99 wax folds of Heroin, a pipe containing what is believed to be crack cocaine, 8 hypodermic syringes, and other drug paraphernalia. Derek Simone was also placed under arrest. Casey Sinopoli also had an active Hamilton Township Municipal Court traffic warrant $289. Both suspects were transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where they were processed. The investigation led to charges of Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Hypodermic Syringes, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Weekly Police Blotter October 28th thru November 2nd, 2015 . Traffic Accident, Drug Possession (Arrest), & Warrant Arrest – On Monday, November 2, 2015, at 5:01 p.m., Officer Kymberly Gudgeon and Dimitrios Tsarnas responded to the intersection of Lacey Road and Vaughn Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 37-year-old Christopher R. Lawson of Stowaway Road in Manahawkin, NJ, for possessing several wax folds of Heroin and a hypodermic syringe. Christopher Lawson also had a Stafford Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $300. Christopher Lawson was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. Christopher Lawson was also issued a summons for possession of Heroin in a Motor Vehicle. Bail was set at $2,500 and Christopher Lawson was transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail. Weekly Police Blotter October 20th thru October 27th, 2015 . Warrant and Possession of Heroin (Arrest) – On Friday, October 23, 2015, at 1:08 p.m., Officer Anthony Sarno was on patrol when he observed suspicious activity in the parking lot of the Lacey Inn, located at 229 Route 9 North in the Forked River section of the township. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 48-year-old Beth Donnamarie of Maple Drive in Bayville, NJ on a no bail Ocean County Sheriff’s Department warrant and Howell Township Municipal Court Warrant in the Amount of $750. Beth Donnamarie was also found to be in possession of Heroin. Beth Donnamarie was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Beth Donnamarie was then turned over to the custody of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin (Arrest) – On Thursday, October 22, 2015, Officer Anthony Sarno was conducting an investigation into the possible possession and distribution of Heroin when he observed 47-year-old Edward F.
