January 26, 2013 – Reverse 9-1-1 Registration Update

January 26, 2013 – The Lacey Township Police Department has now included a feature on its website www.LaceyPD.org which allows residents to electronically register telephone numbers in the police department’s Reverse 9-1-1 directory. The Global Connect Emergency Notification System is utilized by the Lacey Township Police Department to notify residents via telephone of emergency conditions as well as other essential information. The system’s database automatically includes landline telephone numbers and most Internet-based phone numbers.

The system does not automatically contain cellular telephone numbers and may not include some Internet-based telephone numbers unless the resident has recently registered the number for Reverse 9-1-1 through the police department.

Now residents can go to www.LaceyPD.org and access the electronic registration through the “Resident Resources” feature at the bottom right corner of the home page. The Global Connect banner (link) may be found among the other automated resources available on the “Resident Resources” page.

Residents are welcome to register multiple numbers through the system. Global Connect maintains the database of telephone numbers registered in the Lacey Township Police Department’s Reverse 9-1-1 System.
