Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Officers Presented with “Thank You” Cards from Land of Oz Learning Center – June 25, 2020

“Our gratitude continues: Thank you Land of Oz Learning Center.

Yesterday, Patrolmen Michael Hutman and Matthew D’Antonio were invited to the Land of Oz Learning Center, where they were met with a warm welcome from children and staff, who presented, “Thank you,” cards to our officers.  Each card was handmade by the children at Land of Oz, and included “Thank you” messages, pictures, and stickers.  The many thoughtful cards were read and enjoyed by our staff and officers, including the Chief of Police.  In addition to this thoughtful show of support, our officers and staff were with later provided with pizza and sandwiches,  which had been purchased by a generous Land of Oz Parent.  Each day, our officers are constantly reminded of how fortunate we are to serve this community.  It is often that our officers talk about the many hand-waves, “Thumbs up,” and kind words of support, in which they receive throughout their shifts from our residents.  All of your support is seen, heard, and immensely appreciated.  It is because of our residents that we serve Lacey Township with great pride.”
